My SUPER , Awesome and cool skills in my native language!!!!!!
My experience in the GAP this semester!!!!
These question are improtant to me who will study next semester again.
At the beginning of the semester I felt homesick and it was hard for me. Even though as times went by it was getting better but it affcted my studying English a lot. I realized thant enjoying studying and maintaining my good condition are more importnt for me to improve my English. I don't satisfied with my studying but I think that my English actually has developed. My goal for next semester is to focus on classes , writing an essay 300 for 30minutes in less grammar erros and speaking without pause.

It feels different studying alone from studying in the classroom. When feel like I really need to focus on my assignment, I prefer bringing my homework home and finish it alone. Those group subjects I do with my classmates of course, and also stay in the lab when I don't feel like doing any work to cheer myself up.
There are several goals I have for future improvement, such as, I want to finish the two books That I choose for the Christmas break,
I think I'll just keep up reading to prepare for the next semester.
The typing program, soft read, all kinds of exercises that the reading teacher gave us, writing assignments, lab hours and the activities were all very helpful.
But the presentations we did were not effective except the one with movies.
Endure to the end!!!
I have improved my English for this semester, but not as much as last semester. But I think that is my problem, I did not try my best. I remembered last semester I had an assignment for Listening and speaking class was watching movie/TV for half hour. Another assignment for Writing was writing down your daily life for 10 minutes. For me, these two assignment helped me a lot. This semester I learned how to enjoy writing! Next semester I will take a break, I will make plans to study by my own to prepare next semester just like what we did this semester. I know I need to improve my Listening, vocabulary and Writing words count. I think learning languages you need to have the heart and endure to the end. Add oil! Haha that’s how we say in Chinese to encourage people!!!

I hope that in the future I can have more time in class to learn how to write a paragraph, and essay as well.
Next semester I will be more aware to learn more vocabulary and read more as well, because I thing that is one of most of effective activity.

I'm getting better
When I read a American novel, I was so happy because I understood clearly. It gave me to build up self-confidence and better attitude.

This Semester
Last Thanksgiving I visited my American family since I started studded at ELC, they said that my English improved a lot and I feel like, I think that now I can understand the words more clearly and my vocabulary has increased and I can express myself better. I developed my own way to learn and I will be better prepared for the next semester. I intend to keep my enthusiastic and had work, some students have a decrease in the second semester, but I will effort myself to this don’t happen. This semester I improved my writing skis because I learn structure and I practiced a lot.

As I look back on This Semester...
Actually, I hadn't been able to recognize the improvement of my English skills, but I realized that I've surely progressed my English so far since the beginning of this semester. I've learned the importance of working hard continuously in this semester. To sum up, I liked this semester and am grateful for my teachers! Of course for my classmates too!
Metacognitive Blog Post 7
This is the last assignment on the metacognitive blog this semester. I want you to think and then write about this semester's learning experience in the GAP. Here are some questions that can help you:
- Do I feel like I have improved my English? Why or why not?
- Do I feel like I know how to better learn by myself and in the classroom?
- What goals do I have for future improvement with my English learning?
- What can I do to prepare myself for next semester?
- What has been helpful to me this semester?
- What has been unhelpful to me?
